The singer never plays it safe, donning everything from a quirky "compact-disc" hat to a sexy zebra-print look.
"I like to keep it fresh and interesting," the 31-year-old judge told Us Weekly of her style on the show. "I get bored and I'm an artist first and foremost. I'm from the world of making videos and touring and I love theatrics.
She added: "That's why sometimes you'll see me with a hat, sometimes you'll see me just a little more subdued like today," referencing the curve-hugging tangerine dress she wore with spiked Christian Louboutin heels and oversized hoop earrings on Tuesday's episode.
She also toned down her hair and makeup, replacing her signature big curls and glossy red lips with a softer 'do and metallic shadow.
And after watching her team member's perform she changed into another flattering blue color-blocked dress for a night out with boyfriend Matthew Rutler.
